Predictions Of All My Sons
Photo From DVD Town
My prediction of what will happen after Act One is that Chris and Ann will get married. They already told Joe that they are getting married, and I don't think Kate will be very happy after they tell her. She will probably have difficulties coping with the fact that Ann has moved on from Larry to Chris. If Kate tells them they shouldn't get married and she refuses to let them, I think they are going to go somewhere else to get married and live.

I feel that the second technique will be the best option to help with my persuasive speech. It says to be creative and use humor in building your case. I think that sometimes when I write my speeches and even when I present them, I tend to get nervous and just focus on what I am saying instead of using emotion when I talk. I plan on using this technique by capturing the audience's attention and getting them interested in my speech topic. This picture helps represent this technique because it has a certain boldness that captures your attention and makes you want to learn more about it.

Night
This picture represents the symbol of night in the book because many of Elie's memories from the concentration camps took place during the night. The symbol makes a statement along with fire because Elie begins to lose his faith in God and in the bible darkness and night represents a world without God, which is what Elie begins to think is happening. He also says that a black flame has come into his soul, which is a representation of the darkness.

Fire
Photo from Indian Health Service
This photo represents the symbol fire in the book because even if their homes weren't on fire like the one in the picture, it was as if they were. Not only did they lose everything they had inside their homes, many also lost their lives. Fire is an important symbol in the book because it is seen in many different settings. Madame Schacter sees a vision of fire, and when they arrive at the concentration camp Elie and the other prisoners see people being thrown into fires and crematoriums.

Importance of Father-Son Bonds
Photo from Sheer Luxe
Father-son bonds in this story are an important theme, because Elie makes it an important point that he needs to stay with his father wherever they go. The father and son in this picture are happy and you can see that they like to be around each other, and so did Elie and his father. This picture relates to the theme because you see that the father and son seem as though they would do anything for each other, and you see that in the beginning. But as the story progresses you see that the sons begin to turn on their fathers and vice-versa.
Inhumanity Toward Other Humans
Photo from The Daily Maverick
This image shows the inhumanity toward other humans because during the Holocaust, many children were without their parents and they had to find food themselves. The boy in this picture looks a bit confused like he doesn't know what to do and he looks like he had to get that bread somewhere by himself. Besides the inhumanity of the Nazis to the Jews, the families turned on each other. If the parent had food, they probably wouldn't share it with their child just because they wanted to survive.
